Nigerian President tasked on restoring discipline in governance

President Muahammadu Buhari has been urged to evolve new policies that would bring about discipline and ethics in government and private practices in line with the War Against Indiscipline.

A Former Military Governor of Kwara State, Retired Group Captain Salaudeen Latinwo made the call in an interview with newsmen.
According to him, the new War Against Indiscipline must be directed at changing the general attitude in the social, economic and political realm towards ensuring that the people of the country become agents of change.

Chief Latinwo who was among the First set of personnel of the Nigerian Air Force, noted that the country needed to quickly reverse the reign of corruption, insecurity, ignorance, poverty and greed.

He added that the country needs the change mantra to cover infrastructural deficiency, youth apathy, unemployment, stagnation and hopelessness.

Chief Latinwo stressed the need to promote the norms and culture that support the truth, transparency, integrity, respect and discipline at all times in the body of polity.

The Former Military Governor also appealed to the aggrieved people of the South South and other Nigerians who feel uncomfortable with the present political arrangements to exercise restraints and seek orderly democratic process to find solution to their grievances.
