I will rise again
I say to my bones ‘Rise again.’ I say to my heart, ‘Beat again. ‘ For now is the time The ant forgets its bedtime And gather its food for the winter For a new race prepares the sprinter I rise and stand to victory again Never settle for the least gain I lift up my banner to war Attack failure with no flaws Break the bars of oppression I zoom to success without dispossession I have skyrocketed again For a superior bargain With the riches of life To bring its harvest to life For my possession and concession I will rise again in successions.
